Thank you for everything you do to protect and preserve our national parks.

Dear Friend of the National Parks,

NPCA’s Giving Day is just three days away!

Have you joined NPCA with your special contribution to protect your beloved national parks?

Giving Day is a special day to inspire loyal members and supporters like you to make a unified show of support for our imperiled parks. And we have set a goal of raising $50,000 by midnight on August 25 to strengthen and sustain our urgent park protection efforts through the rest of the year.

Hundreds of dedicated NPCA members and supporters have already stepped up with early Giving Day gifts. We are so grateful for their support, which is providing the funds we need to fight back against the escalating threats that imperil cherished parks from coast to coast.

But it is going to take even more of us to make this important campaign a success for your parks. Can I count on you to pitch in and help us reach our goal in the next three days?

August 25 is NPCA Giving Day ... join today!

Your new membership gift will arrive at such a critical time for your national parks. While the COVID-19 pandemic has kept many of us away from our favorite parks, it has not stopped the administration’s aggressive attacks on our public lands, wildlife and their habitats, and clean air and water.

In June, the president illegally removed protections for Northeast Canyons and Seamounts Marine National Monument to allow commercial fishing in the last place in the North Atlantic where whales, sea turtles and endangered marine wildlife can swim free of industrial-scale fishing gear.

NPCA is already part of a lawsuit to reverse the administration’s illegal action to remove more than 1 million acres from Bears Ears National Monument in Utah. And we are going to fight just as hard to ensure that Northeast Canyons and Seamounts, and all of our national monuments, remain protected as they were intended.

Please help NPCA fight — and win — these and other high-stakes park protection battles by joining today with an early Giving Day contribution.

With 101 years of experience, a strong presence in Washington, DC, a nationwide network of pro-park advocates, and park champions on both sides of the aisle in Congress, NPCA is better equipped than any other organization to secure the strong funding and protections our parks need and deserve.

But our greatest strength is our members.

Just last month, you helped us pass the Great American Outdoors Act in Congress, which will provide billions of dollars in urgently needed funding for repairs and maintenance across the National Park System. This is a monumental victory more than two decades in the making, and it would not have happened without you.

That’s why NPCA has created this special day of giving and action for your parks. And I hope we can count on you to help make it a success.

Please help us reach our campaign goal and provide a strong future for our nation’s most beautiful and significant places by joining NPCA today.

All of us at NPCA are counting on your continued support. More importantly, your parks are, too.

With gratitude,

Theresa Pierno, NPCA President and CEO

Please deliver another win for your parks by making your strongest new member Giving Day gift right now to help us reach our goal. Thank you again!
