This is an all-hands-on-deck moment.

Trump’s postmaster, Louis DeJoy, is pushing through service cuts and other disruptions that could interfere with the election.

Public Citizen is suing to stop the United States Postal Service from being used to sabotage our democracy.

But lawsuits are never easy.

Take a look at my earlier note, copied below in case you missed it, for more details about the lawsuit.

And thank you for being part of this with us.

Yesterday, Public Citizen — along with the NAACP and the NAACP Legal Defense Fund — filed a lawsuit in federal court to stop Donald Trump’s postmaster from disrupting the election.

A quick recap of what Trump has been up to:
There is little doubt about what’s going on here.

Donald Trump aims to undermine the Postal Service in order to interfere with mail-in voting. He said so himself.

We are not going to let him get away with it.

What Trump is doing is immoral.

It’s also illegal.

And it’s a threat to the very foundation of our democracy.

We are going to fight it in court.

But lawsuits — not to mention all the other work we do to preserve government of, by, and for the people — can be expensive.

If you can, please make a donation today to help us win this lawsuit and keep fighting for democracy.

Thanks for being part of this shared project called Public Citizen.

In unity,

- Robert Weissman, President of Public Citizen
