The Senate comes back from recess in just a couple weeks, and right now, I’m working with my colleagues and the White House to find common ground on meaningful anti-gun violence legislation.

I know this will not be easy, but for as long as there is a chance, I am going to keep trying.

This issue is my focus right now. It has to be. It’s about nothing less than saving lives.

That also means I simply have a very limited amount of time to pay attention to our campaign’s modest fundraising goals. These goals help us keep up our campaign’s work of organizing around the issues that matter most — like passing common-sense gun safety legislation. So I need to ask:
