We showed up in the streets, phonebanked, made calls and sent emails, lobbied Capitol Hill, and more to protest against a single extra dollar for ICE abductions, inhumane detention centers, and deportations that separate families.

We can and should count our wins, including that not a single Democrat in either chamber of Congress voted for this bill. It means that every MAGA politician we kick out of Congress this fall brings us closer to a government that funds our families instead of ICE.
