** Stop the Persecution of the Afrikaners

Persecution in South Africa is systemic, not incidental. Structural injustice requires structural reform.

Centurion, South Africa – Following an intensive week of engagements in South Africa, the New York Young Republican Club (NYYRC) and Lex Libertas today announced a coordinated international action plan to bring South Africa’s crisis to the attention of the United States government and the broader Western world.

While in South Africa, the NYYRC delegation met with victims of farm attacks, persons excluded by racially discriminatory legislation, business leaders, and community institutions. These engagements have informed a structured program of follow-up action to be implemented in the United States.

The first component is the launch of an international petition calling on the United States to appoint a special envoy dedicated to engaging with the Afrikaner community and other cultural minorities in South Africa, and to recognize the pursuit of self-governance as a legitimate and peaceful solution. The goal is to secure at least 100,000 signatories before formally submitting the petition to the President of the United States, the U.S. State Department, and the White House.

The NYYRC proudly hosted an unforgettable 113th Annual Gala at the iconic Cipriani Wall Street. Together, we celebrated the Golden Age of America surrounded by friends, leaders, and patriots who share a vision for our nation’s future.

Guests heard powerful remarks from Rep. Mike Collins, Rep. Andy Ogles, Benny Johnson, and the one and only Jack Posobiec. It was an evening marked by calls for remigration, renewed faith, and standing strong in the MAGA movement. In 2026, we will take our country back and the NYYRC is leading the way.

The New York Young Republican Club brings together men and women aged 18 to 40 to discuss important policy issues, promote Republican principles and values, and help elect Republicans to office. With hundreds of dues-paying members throughout New York City and the United States, the Club engages in politics by:

We are currently looking for Vice-Chairs for many of our committees, who will receive special discounts for working events and recognition on our website. In addition to Vice Chair positions, we are looking to build all of our committees in terms of members.
