Kingston Incorporation Feasibility Analysis Information Meeting - June 24
Join Kitsap County Commissioner Christine Rolfes for an informational meeting on the feasibility of Kingston incorporation on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at the Village Green Community Center, located at 26159 Dulay Road NE in Kingston.
Under state law, an area can incorporate as a city once it meets specific population requirements. The process for incorporation includes a petition, review by the Kitsap County Board of Commissioners, and an election.
The Board of Commissioners allocated funding in 2025 to hire consultants to conduct a feasibility study to research and provide information on the viability of Kingston incorporation. Analysis topics include financial considerations, revenue options, and comparisons to other small communities that successfully incorporated.
Michaela Jellicoe and Ethan Schmidt of Community Attributes, Inc. will share their findings and analysis followed by questions from the public. The full report will be available online.
