Dear John,
This spring, I was out knocking on voters’ doors and having lots of conversations with Oregonians. I heard the same concerns again and again – water-sucking data centers being built across Oregon, corporate influence in politics, the state of our education system, attacks from ICE, and more. I’m sure you can relate to those concerns; I know I can!
From all of these conversations, one thing is clear: we need legislators who will fiercely advocate for people, our clean air and water, and our healthy communities; NOT big corporate polluters. And, at OLCV, we’re in the business of fighting fearlessly and tirelessly for candidates who will do the same for our environment. But we can’t do it without you.
We’re building the resources now that we need to get climate champions like Myrna across the finish line this November. Will you donate now to help? [[link removed]]

[link removed] [[link removed]] As one of OLCV’s Engagement Organizers, I can confidently say that Myrna Muñoz, Democratic candidate for SD 15, is one of those candidates. OLCV helped Myrna win a hard-fought primary, unseating a corporate-backed incumbent in a district (and race) where data centers were a key issue.
On a personal note, Myrna was an absolute joy to work with. She is humble and very motivated to fight for the community. As a strong advocate against data centers, Myrna even gave online testimony on very late notice, because she knows how affected our communities are. She attends any event she can to advocate, and wants to learn as much about these big issues as possible so that she can prepare for her time in office.
With our help going door to door, Myrna Muñoz was able to win her race in Senate District 15. Our work is not finished to elect the climate champs that we need in office.
Make your gift of $50 today so we can recruit 3 volunteers to speak to voters about candidates who will fight to protect our environment! [[link removed]]
We’re in this together,
