[link removed] [[link removed]] Happy Pride Month, John!
Pride is a time to recognize and commemorate the courage, strength, and joy of the LGBTQ+ community. I’m excited to get out and celebrate with Iowans very soon — hopefully it won’t rain on our parade like last year!

Some of the fun we had at Pride last year, despite the rain!
But Pride Month also serves as a stark reminder of how far we have to go. There is still a lot of work to be done to ensure equality and dignity for all.
It is crucial that over the next few months, as the National GOP uses LGBTQ+ communities as a political pawn in their hateful attacks, we continue to fight tirelessly for all our neighbors. They’re going to flood your social media newsfeeds and airwaves with disgusting vitriol. It’s the same cruel playbook they’ve used over and over again.
They’ll throw smears at anyone who stands up for the LGBTQ+ community in a pathetic ploy to hold on to their slim majority. They’ll call me “radical Sarah Trone Garriott” as they have many times before, but I want to make one thing clear, John: There is nothing radical about fighting for your neighbors to have the equality and dignity we all deserve.
I will always stand up for the equal rights and dignity of all Iowans. In Congress, I will continue fighting to make sure Iowa is an affordable, healthy, safe place to live for every Iowan.
I’m proud we’re building a movement that has brought people to help our neighbors. That’s the only way we are going to be able to flip this seat, lower costs, take on Washington, and secure equality and human rights for all.
If you’re on board with building an Iowa that works for all Iowans, can you chip in $5 or $10 today to our campaign and help us stand up to the attacks sure to come? [[link removed]]
