Fellow Conservative,

Heritage Action’s Executive Director Jessica Anderson discussed our Police Pledge and the larger Fight For America initiative with Erick Erickson this week. Give it a listen.

In just a few days, over 15,000 citizens have signed the Police Pledge! Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, as well as over 40 elected officials, and candidates have taken a stand with law enforcement. More are signing every day.

As Americans add their names to the pledge, it will encourage more elected officials and candidates to sign on as well, and take a stand against the “defund the police” movement.

Grassroots activists across the country continue to lead in their communities and be an example to others who also don’t want to lose our country but may be afraid to speak out.

Bless the Blue of Lima holds series of three “praytests” in Lima, OH
Over 60 Patriots including Sentinels and members of Bless the Blue of Lima held multiple “praytests” recently in their town, coming together to pray and show support for the law enforcement of the Allen County, Ohio Sheriff Department as well as all over the country. Attendee Darrell Craft said, “The people that serve us, they need to know that we aren’t the silent majority. There’s some of us that are praying for them and being very public about it and do support them. They need to see that support.”

700 patriots Rally for the Republic in Colorado
Over 700 patriots attended a Rally for the Republic in Loveland, CO, where they waved their flags and signs and supported our American way of life and freedom. There were so many supporters that they lined both sides of a main road running through the city. As cars drove through, most drivers honked and waved in support. When police cars passed, everyone cheered loudly.

“Brunch to Lunch” for Police
Sentinel leaders Jackie Archer, Katherine Hudgins, and a group of 15 others in Tennessee came together early Monday morning to put together lunches for over 100 local law enforcement officers of the Murfreesboro Police Department and Rutherford County Sheriff's Office. Sentinels assembled the meals with food locally donated. They included a hand-written thank you note with each lunch for the officers. The Sentinels also collected over $600 to fund the next food donation event. Our thanks go out to all who donated time, food, and money for our brave men and women in law enforcement!

Back the Blue rally at Dallas City Hall Plaza
Sentinels and Supporters of Dallas Police rallied in response to Dallas City Council talking about defunding or reducing funds for the city police. Over 50 people gathered in over 100-degree heat to show their support for officers who keep the city safe, displaying their American flags, signs supporting police, and “back the blue” flags and apparel. Additional rallies will be taking place in the area almost every week. If you’re in Texas, take part in one near you!

“We Back Blue” meetup in Virginia
We Back Blue showed up in Richmond, VA yesterday to show support and love to officers in the face of the special session on police reform and gun control. The media didn’t cover the good things happening on the ground, but the day was filled with conversations, hugs, and prayers. A little courage, boldness, and the desire to show genuine love goes a long way! In addition to Richmond, We Back Blue has held numerous events over the past week in Manassas and Loudoun County, and is planning more events in Virginia in the coming days, including one at 10am TODAY in Fairfax County. If you’re in the area, try to make it!

Heritage Action canvassing swing voters in battleground states
Since April, we’ve been doorknocking and calling swing voters in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, North Carolina, and Iowa having issue-based conversations, registering voters, urging them to vote conservatively this November, and identifying volunteers to join us in our fight for America. So far, we’ve knocked on over 100,000 doors and called nearly a quarter of a million swing voters. It’s part of our long term plan to grow the conservative movement by making a home for swing voters based on the issues and helping them become accountability warriors.

Like failed policies and bad outcomes? “Thank a Democrat!”
California Sentinel Dran Reese and her grassroots conservative group Women VIPs held a "Thank a Democrat" rally this week. As the Democratic Convention was underway, they hit the streets of Del Mar, CA to express displeasure at failed Left-wing policies that have led to election fraud, loss of personal freedom, skyrocketing abortions, destroyed businesses, and homelessness.

Thank you!

Jessica Anderson and the Heritage Action team

P.S. - We just released a very telling survey on voters in 4 key swing states—have you seen it? Our new survey found that nearly 8 in 10 likely voters in Arizona, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin OPPOSE defunding the police.

This finding directly contradicts what the liberal media and radical Left want Americans to believe: that most Americans support defunding our nation’s police departments. It’s simply not true. If you’d like to learn more, check out the survey here.
