JD Vance just asked Donald Trump’s Justice Department to criminally investigate me.

Why?

Because I’ve held the Trump administration accountable when they attack our rights, abuse their power, and put Minnesotans in harm’s way. That’s my job as Attorney General.

When this administration breaks the law, I take them to court. When they threaten our freedoms, I fight back. When they try to put themselves above the Constitution, I stand up for the people of Minnesota.

Trump and Vance don’t want Attorneys General who do that. They want us to look the other way. To stay quiet. To let them attack our rights, our wallets, and our democracy without consequence.

I won’t do that. So now they’re coming after me.

As the People’s Lawyer, I’m going to keep doing the job Minnesotans elected me to do: protecting people, defending our rights, and making sure the law applies to everyone — even the most powerful people in the country.

But I can’t do it alone.
