John -

Across the country, people are asking the same question: How do we fight back? How do we protect reproductive freedom, defend voting rights, and build a future where everyone has the opportunity to thrive?

The answer may surprise you. It's happening in North Carolina.

Our state sits at the center of some of the most consequential political battles in the nation. A handful of legislative races will determine whether extremist policies advance or whether we elect leaders who will protect fundamental rights and strengthen our democracy.

And those races are often decided by just a few hundred votes.

That's where Lillian's List comes in.

For nearly three decades, we've recruited, trained, endorsed, and elected pro-choice, progressive women across North Carolina. We've helped build a pipeline of leaders who don't just run for office - they win.

Today, we're investing in our endorsed candidates running in the most competitive House districts because they are the pathway to flipping the North Carolina House and creating lasting change for millions of North Carolinians.

But we can't do it alone.

We're inviting committed progressives to become members of Lillian's List and invest in the women who are fighting for our shared values. Will you join us today? [[link removed]]

Every membership helps us support our candidates, provide campaign training, and build the infrastructure necessary to win competitive races.

Lillian’s List was founded in 1997 and named in honor of Lillian Exum Clement — a trailblazer who defied the odds to make history. In 1920, she ran for the North Carolina General Assembly against three male opponents at a time when she yet could not even cast a ballot for herself. Despite those barriers, she became the first woman elected to the North Carolina General Assembly and the first woman elected to any state legislature in the South.
Today, Lillian’s List continues her legacy by recruiting, training, and electing progressive, pro-choice women across North Carolina. Join our efforts and make a lasting impact and build political power across the state.
