On June 30th, our campaign faces an important test — our FIRST quarterly FEC fundraising deadline since the VA Supreme Court overturned our voter-elected maps and I began my re-election campaign in VA-07.
I can’t overstate how critical this deadline is.
Shortly after, all of our fundraising data will be made public. That means how many donations we have received, how much cash we have on hand, and most importantly, how many grassroots donors our campaign has.
The moment our report is released, it will be scrutinized by everyone from our MAGA opponents to Donald Trump and his MAGA cronies in the House, to National Republicans spending against us. Every detail will be analyzed.
They want to see us losing momentum after the maps were overturned. They want to see us short on resources so we can’t compete against their dark money attacks. They are looking for any signs of weakness to exploit.
So this deadline matters. It’s our chance to show the GOP that our movement cannot and will not be defeated.
