Here’s what we know right now:
* We won both Bangor and Portland by several percentage points — two of our largest population centers, reflecting the broad coalition we've built across the state.
* We finished the first round of counting in a strong position, and right where we expected to be at this stage of the race.
* Based on the results we have today, the ranked-choice voting math gives us a strong path forward.
We won’t know the final outcome until sometime next week. But for now, we do know that every Mainer deserves to have their votes fully counted — and that we need to be prepared to dive into a general election race.
