Recently, lawmakers voted against continuing the war in Iran, with four
Republicans joining Democrats to defy the president. The IRS
"anti-weaponization" slush fund has been paused (for now) due to
cross-partisan opposition in the Senate. The voter suppression SAVE
America Act looks finished. And yes — the president still hasn't gotten
federal funding for his ballroom.
None of that is a coincidence. That's what happens when people loudly say
"you work for us, not the president."
