Thank you, team. The results are in, and I am proud to be the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate in South Carolina!
This victory belongs to every volunteer who knocked doors, every supporter who chipped in what they could, and every South Carolinian who believes we deserve a senator who will fight for us instead of for himself. So again, thank you, team.
Since I launched this campaign last year, we’ve built something nobody thought was possible. Packed rooms in counties written off as too red. Grassroots donors outraising Lindsey Graham. A movement that is real, growing, and ready.
Over the next few months, Lindsey Graham, Donald Trump, and their allies will spend millions trying to stop us. They’ll try to drown out our message of hope and progress. We can’t let them.
Because what we’ve built is bigger than any one campaign. It’s a coalition of people across the country who are tired of being ignored, tired of the same old politicians putting themselves first, and ready for leadership that actually fights for working families.
Tonight proved that when people come together around a vision for something better, anything is possible.
It’s time to finish what we started,
