Friend,

We are in a climate emergency.

For years, New York did nothing. Then, thanks to you, we flipped control of the state senate and in my first term we passed the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA) -- the most ambitious climate legislation in the country.

Today, I’m proud to announce that I have received the endorsement of the New York League of Conservation Voters because of my strong pro-environment record and perfect 100% score on their 2019 Legislative Scorecard [[link removed]] .

In my first term, we’ve taken bold steps to protect our environment -- and the health and wellbeing of New Yorkers. I introduced a bill that would make New York the first state in the country to mandate a climate curriculum in all public elementary schools.

But we have more to do. If we want to keep New York a leader on the environment, our campaign needs your help. Can you sign up for one phone shift this week to elect a pro-environment State Senator?

I’m proud to have the endorsement of the New York League of Conservation Voters.

Together, we can ensure New York continues to lead on the environment.

Thanks,
