This is just another slap in the face to American consumers.

Donald Trump is blocking an $8.8 billion home rebate program designed to help families switch from nonelectric appliances like gas furnaces to clean electric models like heat pumps.

Not only is this move blatantly illegal as the law explicitly states homeowners are allowed to do this, but it also makes absolutely no sense to strip away a program that allows people to save money while upgrading to more efficient appliances.
