Following the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, which gave women the right to vote, and ahead of Women’s Equality Day on August 26th, we’re reminded of how far we’ve come, but also how much more work needs to be done in the name of women’s rights. In 2020, women continue to face discrimination and sexual harassment. Extreme forces continue to try to take away a woman’s right to choose. And we still haven’t ratified the Equal Rights Amendment to ensure equality under the Constitution. That’s why it’s so crucial we elect more women leaders, like Annie, to Congress.
