It looks like we might fall short of our fundraising goal before midnight tonight — so I’m going to keep this message, well, short…

This week alone, $10 million is being spent in our Senate race on television ads, as Washington Republicans ramp up attacks against Cal.

And the hard truth is, if we fall short of our 10,000 donor goal before tonight's deadline, I will have to spend the weekend making some tough decisions about our budget in the next few weeks.

Will we have enough resources to respond to the outrageous amounts of money attacking Cal?

Will we be able to cut above the noise and make sure voters know Cal’s message?

I don’t know, but I’m hopeful. And it depends on whether or not we reach this fundraising goal in the next few hours. So I’m asking:
