GRAHAM PLATNER CALLED U.S. Army soldiers "fat, lazy trash."




We were absolutely appalled when we heard this. We owe our freedom, our
safety, and our very way of life to the brave men and women who fought for us
at home and overseas.




That is why it is absolutely disgraceful that Maine's presumptive Democratic
nominee would stoop so low as to attack our service members. How could anyone
who served slam our own troops like that?




Our military members sacrifice everything to keep us safe. They deserve our
utmost respect, not vile insults from a political candidate.




But he does not care.




He will not apologize or stand up for his actions.




He sleeps soundly knowing that millions are being poured into Maine to support
him.




We cannot let them get away with this. We need a leader in the Senate who will
fiercely defend our military, not insult them. Senator Collins has always
fought to ensure our armed forces have the resources and respect they deserve,
but she cannot win this battle alone.
