This has been a truly extraordinary week. Our Democratic Party is united like never before and we showed it during the Democratic National Convention, with leaders from across the ideological and political spectrum rallying behind Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. I know I'm fired up, and if you are too please take a moment to make a small contribution to our party to help us defeat Trump and elect Democrats throughout the state. [[link removed]]

As if continuing to guide our state through the COVID-19 pandemic wasn't already challenging enough, Governor Murphy must now contend with a lawsuit filed by the Trump campaign against the state seeking to endanger and disenfranchise our voters. But Governor Murphy isn't backing down, because it's clear that voting by mail is both safe and secure, and that the state's hybrid voting system is the right choice to balance public health and voting rights. Watch Governor Murphy respond to Trump's lawsuit on MSNBC here. [[link removed]]

Last night Joe Biden laid out the stakes in this election in a powerful nomination acceptance speech that showed that he and President Trump could not be more different. While Trump only cares about himself, Joe's entire life has been about empathy, caring and service to others. Watch Joe's full speech last night to hear more about his vision to restore our country and move forward together. [[link removed]]

Thank you,
Chairman John Currie
P.S. This convention week could not have happened without the hard work of our entire NJDSC team. I want to thank our Vice Chair Peg Schaffer for her leadership, Governor Murphy and First Lady Tammy Murphy for their incredible support for everything we do, and our elected officials, delegates, party leaders, grassroots advocates and more who are always working hard to fight for our values. Finally, I want to thank my excellent senior staff for rising to the occasion and putting on a nearly flawless presentation during unprecedented circumstances. Thank you to Saily Avelenda, Kevin Olasanoye, Nabila Baptiste, Dave Parano and his team, our wonderful interns and our entire NJDSC team.
