John -- Cori Bush and I have stood alongside each other for nearly four years. And earlier this month, my friend and ally took down an apathetic political dynasty in Missouri’s First Congressional district. The people spoke, and mountains were moved.
Cori Bush’s official endorsement of our campaign today is so meaningful. It is a continuation of the work we have done over these years together. I couldn’t be more grateful and excited that our coalition is headed to Capitol Hill.
Will you join Cori Bush in supporting this campaign for the people of West Virginia and the entire nation? [[link removed]]

Cori and I started out as Brand New Congress candidates and slate mates in 2017. We made the bold decision to refuse corporate PAC dollars when few were even talking about it. We are both mothers, community organizers and regular-working people just fighting for change in our communities.
In 2018, I stood on the front lines with Cori in Ferguson to fight for justice for Michael Brown. And she has called for clean water and better paying jobs in West Virginia. We traveled the country as surrogates for Bernie Sanders’ presidential bid, declaring that healthcare is a human right and demanding action on the climate crisis. And with your support, in January we will stand together as allies in Congress, doing the people’s work. [[link removed]]
Time and again, Cori and I show up for each other. In Washington D.C., too many relationships are bought and paid for. Well, you can’t buy this kind of loyalty and connection. Together, Cori and I will get the work done.
John, just imagine! If enough of us band together, we can solve the big problems facing our nation. That’s what happened in St. Louis, and that’s what we are working toward here in West Virginia. Change is possible.
You and thousands of supporters across the country have been there for us so many times before. Sustained support will be required to get us over the finish line in victory, so please dig deep if you are able.
Together we will make this happen.
In Solidarity,
Paula Jean
