Folks – Yvette is sounding the alarm about the ongoing crisis at the United States Postal Service.

After folks like you stood up and demanded action to save the USPS and protect our democracy, Postmaster General Louis DeJoy claimed that planned service changes, like overtime reductions and the removal of mailboxes and sorting machines, would be put on hold.

But Yvette knows that Trump and his cronies cannot be taken at their word – and she was right. Reports are continuing to surface of slowed-down mail and stalled machinery.

So she joined her House colleagues and members of the Brooklyn community to stand up and demand Postmaster DeJoy resign.

Team, are you with Yvette on this? Add your name here to save the USPS from Trump and his cronies →

SAVE THE USPS!

The word of the Trump administration cannot be trusted. Yvette is demanding that any already-implemented changes be reversed and all future changes stop immediately.

She’s calling for legislation that would maintain USPS operations through Election Day at the same level as at the beginning of this year. She is headed to Washington this weekend for an emergency House session to pass the Deliver for America Act, which would do just that, and provide an additional $25 billion in funding to the agency.

And she is demanding that Postmaster DeJoy resign. Don’t mess with the USPS.

If we’re going to save our democracy from those insistent on suppressing our vote and tearing down our precious institutions, we need to take urgent action. Sign on to support the USPS and all Yvette’s hard work to demand accountability and justice at the USPS!

Our community here in Brooklyn has been disproportionately affected by USPS cuts for a while now — and we can’t let it get worse through pure sabotage by the Trump administration.

Thanks for speaking out,

— Team Clarke
