Earlier this week, Mikie wrote an op-ed about the troubling changes at the Postal Service in recent weeks. Here are some highlights:

"By his own admission, President Donald Trump is intentionally damaging the USPS. Worse still, the Postmaster General installed by Trump has begun systematically dismantling the institution."

"I am not going to sit idly by while the USPS is torn apart. We need to protect our democracy, ensure free and fair elections, take care of our veterans, and support small businesses. All of this relies on a strong United States Postal Service."

Mikie and House Democrats are working to get to the bottom of the policy changes at the Postal Service and to secure critical funding to protect this essential institution, the New Jerseyans who depend on it, and our elections.
