The truth is, I need to know if you are still with me before Fight for the People PAC files its next FEC report.
Fight for the People PAC launched just six months ago, and it's how I am powering my work to travel, speak out for voting rights, and help elect Democrats in every corner of the country in this year’s midterm elections and beyond.
We are facing our next FEC deadline in just a few weeks, and after it passes, all of the donations Fight for the People has received to fund my investment will become public.
For better or for worse, everyone — the press, national Republicans, even Donald Trump and his cronies — will be looking to see if we have the grassroots enthusiasm needed to take on the fight ahead for our country.
If we file a strong report with lots of donations, they’ll know that there is a movement of supporters ready to fight for the people and elect Democrats across the country this November.
If we file a weak report with few donations, they’ll see that there is no pushback to their consolidation of power to benefit Donald Trump and his buddies while leaving the people to fend for themselves.
