Late Thursday night, Letitia James’ bill to ban surveillance pricing
passed the state legislature.

That means companies can no longer use your personal data — your browsing
history, your location, your phone battery — to decide how much they can
charge you.

This is a major win for everyday New Yorkers!

Letitia has been fighting hard for this. She’s rallied with workers and seniors
across New York. She called out the corporations hurting working families
already struggling to afford basic necessities. And last night, we won.
