Or how about the chances that I introduce a new bill to ban federal officials and members of Congress from using prediction markets like Kalshi or Polymarket?

Betting on real-life events might sound harmless to some, but when politicians can use confidential, government-level information to make a profit on things the public doesn't know yet? That’s a massive problem!

We’ve already seen suspiciously accurate predictions on everything from Trump’s military action in Iran, the stock market, and even an unusually high number of trades predicting Lady Gaga would perform with Ricky Martin months before it was ever announced to the public.

That sure looks like insider trading to me! That’s why I am pushing the DOJ to investigate the potential fraud and enforce the law. I’m also leading the charge to make sure these prediction markets put more safeguards in place because these rules have to apply to everyone.
