John -- Many of us watched the Democratic National Convention this week. We hear a lot about what Joe Biden can do for the country as the Democratic President. But we’re here to say, it’s bigger than any president.
Yes, Trump’s presidency has highlighted the already rampant corruption, cronyism and inequalities in this country. And he has torn down so many guardrails, in addition to laying bare our nation’s legacy of xenophobia, racism and exclusion.
The Republican party has become the party of Trump, but the rot runs deeper than one man. It’s not enough to replace Trump, we MUST send the message that his enablers will be held accountable, and we must vote them out in November.
That’s why Brand New Congress is doing all it can to support our six candidates who are heading to the general election to flip critical seats from red to progressive, including replacing Republican Senator Shelley Moore Capito in West Virginia with BNC candidate Paula Jean Swearengin.
