Hey John,
College students, welcome to the most unusual school year of your life.
To be honest, we debated whether or not to even continue the Condom Collective program this year. We’re certain there’s a creative way to have intimate relations six feet apart, but students could be more focused on COVID-filled droplets shooting out of someone’s mouth than … well, you get the picture.
But then the news of the last couple weeks hit - colleges welcoming students back on campus; some students partying indoors; Grindr profiles unironically
stating “mask for mask”; distanced dates turning into Netflix and chill. With all this isolation, of course students will find a way to get it on.
Students have enough to worry about this year - STIs and unplanned pregnancies shouldn't be one of them. That’s where the Condom Collective comes in: a youth-led grassroots movement to make sure every student has the condoms they need.
You can now apply to join The Condom Collective class of Fall 2020 here.
The Condom Collective program is a partnership with Trojan Brand Condoms to ensure that students at your school don't just have free condoms, but high-quality condoms. If you're selected to join, you'll get a box of 500 Trojan Brand condoms to distribute on your campus to promote safer sex.
This year, every box will contain a mix of different Trojan brands too - from Magnum
and ENZ
, to UltraThin
and G-Spot
- we want to help you offer a wide variety of condoms to your peers so they can determine which condom works best for them.
And Condom Collective members don't just receive 500 free Trojan Brand condoms. They also get access to resources and trainings to educate their peers about sexual health and rights.
Look, COVID’s been here for about 6 months, and we’re figuring out how to prevent it. Unintended pregnancy and STIs? They’ve been here since the first mammals sneezed a load of droplets 26 feet across pangea. We know how to prevent them. High-quality condoms that people actually like are one of the safest ways.
Make this year the one where you help your fellow students protect themselves from unplanned pregnancies and STIs. Join the Condom Collective.
Applications close on September 8th, but it only takes a few minutes to fill out. So apply at this link now!
Thanks so much,
