Nigel Farage and Rupert Lowe are fanning the flames again.

In Ugly Politix ([link removed]) , Matt Gallagher writes that Farage’s latest “White Lives Matter” speech shows the far-right death spiral in action. As Farage and Lowe compete for control of Britain’s hard-right fringe, they’re dragging our politics into darker and more dangerous territory.

Farage weaponised the tragic murder of 18-year-old Henry Nowak to push the poisonous idea that white people are under attack. He dressed it up as concern about “two-tier policing”, but the message was clear. This was not a dog whistle. It was a racist foghorn.

Lowe, of course, went even further. Restore Britain pledged to execute Nowak’s killer and deport his family. Elon Musk then amplified Lowe’s post, adding fuel to an already dangerous frenzy.

We’ve seen where this kind of politics leads. When politicians tell people they’re victims of a vast conspiracy, that the country is being stolen from them, and that only rage can save them, it becomes harder and harder to control what happens next.

Matt argues that this isn’t just about Farage or Lowe. It’s about a broken political system that rewards grievance, division and extremism while failing to solve people’s actual problems.
