Hi John,
From the start of 2020, the Iranian-American community has faced numerous challenges: a near war with Iran, a global pandemic, violating our civil rights at home, and imposing brutal sanctions that harm our loved ones abroad. One of Trump's most reckless policy decisions was to renege on the Iran nuclear deal--and now faced with the prospect of being ousted from office, Trump is working to forever destroy it before a possible Biden administration has a chance to restore it.
Yesterday was no exception, as Secretary of State Mike Pompeo went to the UN Security Council to demand the body to reinstate sanctions against Iran. ¹ The U.S.' attempt to use the “snapback” mechanism enshrined in the Iran deal has been laughable considering the fact that Trump abandoned the deal over two years ago. With everything his country faces today, the administration's singular focus on destroying prospects of diplomacy with Iran belies their true agenda--and it is not the American people.
Still, we can stop Trump by helping ensure Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden secures a victory this November. That's why we've launched the biggest Iranian American voter outreach campaign in history--and we want you to join us! We're looking for volunteers to join us in making phone calls, texting voters, hosting virtual events, amplifying Iranian-American voices on social media. So, will you help us kick Trump and Pompeo out of office this November?

This election is poised to be the most important one of our lifetime. The more our community comes together during this crucial time, the greater the chance we have to secure a Biden administration that we can hold accountable in returning to the Iran deal and re-paving the path to diplomacy.
I look forward to building Iranian-American political power with you from now until November and beyond.
In Solidarity,
Donna Farvard
