Summer is here, and this is usually the time of year when people who can afford to start checking out of politics for a little while.
But this campaign is ramping up at an even faster clip, and we’re seeing our friends and neighbors actually increase their engagement this year.
More people are paying attention because they are frustrated with politics that feel careful, poll-tested, and disconnected from what is actually happening in the country right now. They want leaders who are willing to fight—and win. Because while some can afford to take a pause from reality and enjoy the travel and the beach this summer, most Americans cannot.
We've outraised the incumbent in this race two quarters in a row, had a strong convention showing, and recent polls show that this race is tightening.
We MUST keep that momentum going as we close out this quarter. If you are able to chip in early toward our end-of-quarter goal, now would be a great time to do it.
