This week, we've seen #PeopleLikeUs represented on the national political stage like never before. From delivering a keynote speech, speaking out on key issues like climate justice and health care, and even accepting the nomination for Vice President of the United States, New Americans took center stage and stepped into our power. 

Now, it's time for you to join them.

Next month, we will host our first online Ready to Lead training! Designed by and for New Americans and people of color, our online Ready to Lead training—hosted over two weekends—will teach you how to share your authentic story, connect with voters, fundraise, and own your incredible political power. 

If you've been inspired by hearing from Georgia State Representative Sam Park, climate activist Katherine Lorenzo, Michigan State Representative Mari Manoogian, Nevada State Senator Yvanna Cancela, and so many other kickass New American Leaders alumni at the DNC, then this is the step you need to take to join them in speaking up for our communities, creating a more inclusive democracy, and as Kamala Harris said, fighting with conviction and hope. 

This training will focus on the political landscape in the Western United States, though all individuals interested in changing the face of leadership are welcome to apply by our August 31st deadline!
