I have been reflecting on how far we’ve come as I’ve watched the Convention nightly this week.
During World War II my Japanese American great-uncle died fighting for the U.S. while both my parents and all of my grandparents were sent to Japanese American internment camps.
Now we see a different picture, as Democrats rally behind our multiracial Presidential ticket — one that truly represents our country.
But, there is still a long ways to go to make this historic goal a reality and usher in diverse leadership this November. Our team is recruiting 25 supporters in Philadelphia to focus on voter outreach until Election Day — we must mobilize as many voters as possible. Join us now by contributing today (any amount helps at this point in the campaign!):

My great-uncle would be proud to see the movement we’ve ignited this year. This is a movement of many voices and that is what is going to bring change.
The work we decide to put in will make or break this election. What’s your move?

I look forward to the next few months of fighting hard for diverse Democratic leaders. I’m glad you’re joining me.
