This weekend, I'm getting on a plane. Or actually, many planes.

Minnesota. Iowa. Colorado. Three states.. One weekend.

First, I'm heading to Minnesota to keynote the Minnesota DFL Humphrey-Mondale dinner and campaign with Amy Klobuchar, who is running one of the most important governor's races in the country. And then I'm in Denver to keynote the Colorado Democratic Party’s Obama Gala, because we’ve got to keep Colorado in Democratic hands. Then I'm off to Des Moines to stand with Rob Sand, a Democrat who can flip Iowa's governorship blue for the first time in 15 years.

As chair of the Democratic Governors Association, this is my job, and I love doing it. Because I know something that a lot of people in D.C. have forgotten: governors deliver.

We fix roads. We fund public schools. We protect healthcare. We stand up for our people against an out-of-control federal government. Governors are where the rubber meets the road.

And right now, Democrats have a real shot at building a firewall of governors across this country, from Minnesota to Iowa to Colorado and beyond, but only if we have the resources to compete.

That's where you come in.
