When I first set out to represent the Third District in Washington, I did so on a pledge to run without the help of any corporate PAC money.

The Third District deserves better than just another representative beholden to corporate donors and special interests. That's exactly how the gap between what's discussed in Congress and the realities that many working families face has widened.

Together, we created a grassroots-powered movement, and supporters like you have helped fuel us every step along the way. But doing it this way - the right way - means meeting key financial goals gets even tougher. We don't have any corporate PAC to fall back on.
