Friend,
Last month, I went to Delaney Hall twice, and what I found at this private ICE detention facility shook me.
People are being held in inhumane conditions, just miles from where we live. The treatment I heard about from detainees firsthand is cruel and unacceptable. I left Delaney Hall more certain than ever that what is happening there is a moral crisis and that silence is not an option.
This is exactly why this seat matters. I'm in Congress to fight back against cruelty dressed up as policy.
