I was told by the detectives in the hospital to not expect justice. A lot of rape cases stay in the system and they never are processed, but they came back and they said there was no match. There was no DNA match in the system which surprised them, because they felt like the attack was very well-planned. They said he’s probably left the state. And for a long time, we didn’t hear anything. And that was terrifying.
