Each year, Consumer Action holds just one fundraiser to support our work empowering consumers nationwide, especially vulnerable people, such as low- and moderate-income and limited-English-speaking consumers. Our education and advocacy helps consumers avoid fraud and access information needed to build a solid financial future. We couldn’t succeed without friends like you!

Our 2020 Anniversary events will be held online, with a two-day Health & Financial Wealth educational convening on Sept. 29th and 30th, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. (ET) both days. On the 30th, immediately following the convening, we will (virtually) present our awards (3-3:30 p.m. ET). Please join us!
 
The online convening will feature panels discussing critical topics like surprise medical billing, medical debt collection, telemedicine, and innovative solutions for access to health care for underrepresented consumers. Consumer Action’s online 2020 Consumer Excellence Awards (Sept. 30th at 3 p.m. ET) continues the theme of Health Is Wealth by recognizing the achievements of Pennsylvania Insurance Commissioner Jessica Altman; non-profit healthcare advocacy organization Families USA; and Kaiser Health News.
 
Now, more than ever, consumers need our advice and resources as they weather the pandemic. The $50 admission to our virtual events funds our work to help individuals and families nationwide.
