I fought the YMCA after they banned me for protecting girls in the locker room and won a $65,000 settlement. Help us keep fighting.

Patriot,

What if this happened to you, your daughter, or your granddaughter?

I’m 84 years old, and for many years I trusted the government-owned pool that the YMCA operated near me as a safe place for women and girls.

Until one day.

I was taking a shower in the women’s locker room after a swim and when I heard a man's voice, I pulled back the curtain to look.

I couldn’t believe my eyes.

A biological man dressed in a women’s swimsuit, was standing with two young girls, helping one of them remove her swimsuit so she could use the toilet.

Shocked and concerned for those little girls, I did what any protective woman would do.

I spoke up and asked him to leave the women’s space.

The YMCA’s response?
They punished me.

They called my concern “discriminatory,” banned me for life from all their facilities, and even called the police on me, not the man in the locker room.

That day, the YMCA made its priorities crystal clear: radical gender ideology over the privacy, safety, and dignity of women and children.

But I refused to be silenced.

The Center for American Liberty took my case and filed a federal lawsuit against the YMCA and the City of Port Townsend, Washington, demanding accountability for violating my First Amendment rights.

No American should be punished for speaking the truth.

Today, we have a major victory.

I have reached a $65,000 settlement with the City of Port Townsend and the Olympic Peninsula YMCA. The settlement includes payment of legal fees to the Center for American Liberty.

As their CEO Mark Trammell said, “This case was never just about one woman being banned. It was about the fundamental right of every American to speak truth without fear of retaliation.”

My courage sent a powerful message:

Organizations like the YMCA cannot silence concerned women without consequence.

Supporters like you made this victory possible, and your continued support will power the next battles.

Across the country, institutions still prioritize ideology over the safety and privacy of women and girls. Women are still being punished simply for speaking up.

That’s why I’m asking you to stand with me today.

Will you help send this message even louder?

Will you help defend the fundamental rights of women and girls to safe, single-sex spaces?

Your gift directly fuels aggressive legal action that protects women’s spaces and free speech by:

Thank you for standing with me and for standing up for what’s right.

Julie Jaman

Sincerely,

Julie Jaman

P.S. My case proves that when we speak up and fight back, we can win. But the fight is not over. Please join me by making a gift today.
