While we’re building a powerful, united front to win up and down the ballot in Georgia, the Republican Party is putting on a public spectacle of dysfunction. Just look at what we’re up against. In the Governor’s race, Burt Jones and Rick Jackson are tearing each other apart — so bitterly that Jackson refused to debate, leaving an empty podium on stage. Their nominee will limp into November bruised and broken. In the Senate race, extreme Trump loyalists Mike Collins and Derek Dooley are locked in a runoff that will shackle the winner to an increasingly unpopular president. More chaos is all they have to offer. Here’s the bottom line: While Georgia Republicans remain in disarray, we must remain organized, united, and ready to win.
We’re supporting strong leaders like Keisha Lance Bottoms for Governor and Jon Ossoff for Senate, and we’re fighting to flip critical seats in the state legislature. We have the momentum, the message, and the grassroots energy to succeed. But momentum alone doesn’t win elections. We need to fund our entire operation — voter contact, mobilization, and voter protection — to capitalize on this moment and secure victories in November.
