Friend,
Last month, Tennessee Republicans redrew our congressional maps to weaken Black voting power and shut working families out of the conversation. That choice was the catalyst that drove me to run for Congress in the first place.
This week, it got worse, as the Supreme Court cleared the way on Tuesday for Alabama to use a map that erases one of the two districts where Black voters had the power to elect a candidate of their choice. In this decision, they overrode the lower court that found those lines intentionally discriminated against Black voters. It's the second time in barely a month the Court has gutted what's left of the Voting Rights Act.
Courts and legislatures working hand in hand, in 2026, to give Black voters and working people less of a voice, not more.
So I’m asking you to step up today to let the Supreme Court know that you OPPOSE gerrymandering in states like Alabama and Tennessee by adding your name to our petition. [ [link removed] ]

Here's what's really happening: from Tennessee to Alabama to Louisiana, the powerful are racing to choose their own voters before voters get the chance to choose our own representatives. And they're betting that this is a fight they can win to cling to power.
I refuse to accept that. And I know millions of Americans won’t accept it either.
I can't undo a Supreme Court ruling on my own. But I can promise you this — they will not silence us without a fight. So before we do anything else, I want to show them exactly how many of us are paying attention.
Add your name to our petition: we oppose partisan and racial gerrymandering — in Tennessee, in Alabama, and everywhere they try it. [ [link removed] ]
