Fellow American,
Following last week’s victory by Ken Paxton in the Texas Senate runoff, I
recorded a new episode of my podcast,Verdict with Ted Cruz, and I have a very
direct message for Republicans in Texas and across the country:
Do not take this general election for granted.
It’s easy to look at Texas and say, “It’s red. We’re going to win.” And I do
believe we will win —but only if we show up and fight like it matters.
Because the other side is not sitting back. The Democrat nominee, James
Talarico, is a dangerous candidate. He represents the most extreme, far-left
wing of the Democratic Party, and he would do serious damage to the
conservative values we cherish here in Texas.
We cannot afford to be complacent. Not in 2026. Not when so much is on the
line — our border security, our economy, our children’s education, and the
fundamental direction of our Country.
That’s why I’m personally asking you to step up right now. Could you kindly
