Dear Friend, Today, Labor used its numbers in Parliament to force a package of toxic new taxes through the House of Representatives.​We voted against them. And we will repeal them.​These new taxes are an assault on aspiration. They punish Australians who work hard, save, invest, run a small business or hope to buy a home. ​Labor promised no new taxes before the election. Now Australians are paying the price for another broken promise.​Labor has spent too much and borrowed too much. Now it needs more of your money to pay the bill.​We are putting forward a different path.​We believe Australians should keep more of what they earn.​That’s why we will deliver a Tax Back Guarantee that stops stealth tax increases on workers caused by inflation.​We will cap migration based on housing supply. ​We will back small business investment, strengthen national security, and ensure welfare is focused on Australian citizens.​We will restore the standard of living and protect the Australian way of life.​Under Labor, Australians have had the biggest fall in living standards in the developed world. The last thing they need is a government reaching deeper into their pockets.​Labor’s taxes on housing, savings and investments, small business, and inheritances will hurt everyday Australians and our economy. ​This fight isn’t over.​We will continue to stand up for the Australians who are working hard, doing the right thing and simply want a fair go.
