Dear Friends,
Pride is here! And my 3rd Annual Pride Kick-Off Fundraiser is happening this Friday, June 5, from 6–8 PM . I hope you'll join me to celebrate with free food, drinks, and community connection.
As the first and only openly LGBTQ+ member of City Council, Pride is deeply personal for me. It's a time to celebrate our progress, stand together in the face of ongoing challenges, and recommit ourselves to building a more inclusive Philadelphia.
This past year, I've been proud to advance initiatives supporting LGBTQ+ Philadelphians, from holding the first-ever LGBTQ+ equity hearing in City Council examining disparities across Philly’s queer communities, to pulling together resource providers for my office’s LGBTQ+ Health Fair this month, and convening LGBTQ+ small business leaders and artists at City Hall to hear their concerns and lift them up. And soon, my office will hold the first-ever City Council hearing focused on LGBTQ+ healthcare access and availability.
This year's event is especially important because it’s my last Pride fundraiser before I launch my re-election campaign. If you've supported my work in Council, please consider making a contribution.

Thank you, none of this is possible without your support. I hope to see you this Friday for a celebration of Pride, community, and purpose.
In service,
Rue Landau
