Friends,
We know it’s late, but Tammy Duckworth just finished her speech at the Democratic National Convention.
She used her time to shine a light on the issues facing our troops, Veterans returning home and military families — and why they all deserve leaders in government who understand and respect their sacrifices.
If we want to keep Tammy Duckworth in the Senate working on these important issues, it’s our job to do everything we can to help her win reelection.

Friends,
Tonight, I’m giving a speech at the first-ever virtual Democratic National Convention.
I am so proud and grateful for the opportunity to share my story and to share why I am doing everything I can to help elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in November.
But before I take the (virtual) stage, I have one quick ask for you:

I’m using my speech tonight as an opportunity to talk about the issues facing our troops, Veterans and military families.
Because I’ve watched over the last four years as Donald Trump politicized our military, insulted Gold Star families and attacked brave Americans like Lieutenant Colonel Vindman who told the truth even if Trump didn’t like it. They deserve better.
They deserve a leader like Joe Biden, who is the only candidate with the depth of experience needed to protect our country, but also the humility to recognize the magnitude of the sacrifices our troops make.
That’s why I am so excited to take part in this Convention. And why I will do everything in my power to help Joe Biden and Kamala Harris defeat Donald Trump this November.
Thank you for reading.
All my best,
Tammy Duckworth
