I just got off the debate stage and I hope I made you proud. Tonight’s debate was on criminal justice reform, an issue that only increases in its urgency. I’m grateful I was able to not only talk about what I plan to do once elected, but share my career of speaking with activists, law enforcement officers, and county sheriffs about reforming our justice system, reimagining policing, and keeping our communities safe.

I’m running because I want to ensure the safety and security of all Virginians through a criminal justice system built on rehabilitation, reduced recidivism, and voter re-enfranchisement.
