When Americans used to think big, Franklin Roosevelt undertook an infrastructure project which became the envy of the world. The Tennessee Valley Authority infrastructure project, harnessing and directing the energy of the rivers of the South, lifted thousands out of abject poverty and under employment. Wall Street hated this; calling it “socialist.”



We have to build our way out of this depression starting now, with just such projects; not with the Green New Deal. The Green New Deal is an international Malthusian depopulation scheme, despite its lofty PR from Barack Obama and Kamala Harris. As Lyndon LaRouche understood, the strength that we have to win the war we now find ourselves in, a war for the nation itself, lies in the "power of reason" in the minds of our fellow Americans, or as TVA Chairman David Lillienthal wrote, "The only serious obstacles are in the minds of men.
