baby monkeys are being terrorized

Another Primate Lab Exposed: Experimenters Scaring Baby Monkeys in 'Junk Food' Study

Some monkeys were so terrified that they could barely move. The Oregon National Primate Research Center tried to keep you from seeing disturbing video footage of its cruel experiments on monkeys, but PETA took it to court—and the judge ordered that the footage be released to us. Now we're calling on the university to shut down its primate laboratory immediately and stop terrorizing monkeys.

'Tiger King' Exhibitor License Suspended, but Big Cats Are Still Imprisoned

During a June inspection of G.W. Zoo in Oklahoma, agents found a burned animal corpse, decomposing animal bodies, and tigers suffering from horrific flystrike. The U.S. Department of Agriculture's suspension of the license of the facility's current operator, Jeff Lowe, is a step in the right direction, but the long-suffering animals at the roadside zoo must be transferred to an appropriate facility where it won't take federal intervention for a sick cat to receive veterinary care.

Despite rising numbers of COVID-19 cases and more outbreaks in slaughterhouses, the U.S. Department of Agriculture is failing to test meat for the novel coronavirus. Why is it doing nothing to prevent the spread of COVID-19 via animal flesh?

Fascinating Fact:

Some frog species use a "babysitter" to watch over their eggs until they hatch. In a few species, one of the parents stays behind with the eggs and sometimes cares for the tadpoles, too.
