My opponent Lee Zeldin doesn’t share our values. He is one of the most ardent protectors of Donald Trump and the far-right agenda -- but Zeldin's incessant support of Trump's science-denying, anti-choice, and hyperpartisan politics and his eagerness to fan the flames of hysteria have made him one of the most vulnerable incumbents in the House, because our community knows better than to buy his bankrupt politics.

And just today, the DCCC released a poll that shows we’re now leading Lee Zeldin by two points, 48-46.

John, WE are going to beat him.

My pro-science message, and my commitment to solving complex problems using facts, data, and reason, resonate with voters across the district, and provide a sharp contrast with Zeldin. We need to make sure we communicate frequently and loudly to build the support we need to defeat him.

We deserve better than a leader who has proven time and time again that he is happy to side with Trump, in order to receive lavish perks, rather than to stand with his constituents. As a result of his loyalty, Zeldin has been rewarded with fundraisers and trips to Camp David, Israel, and the Lincoln Bedroom. He has also joined Pres. Trump’s July 4 celebration and campaign rally in Tulsa, while the rest of us have made responsible choices due to a crisis he has failed to address.

By our calculations, we expect Zeldin to spend $4.5 - $5 million to defend his seat. And right now, we're on the cusp of hitting a campaign milestone: $1,000,000 raised since I won the primary!

The data show we are in the position to beat Zeldin, but I need you with me to flip this highly targeted race.
